39 Take away the disgrace I dread,
for your laws are good.

The Message:
Deflect the harsh words of my critics—
but what you say is always so good.

Sometimes we may disagree about those laws because they are hard to accept and follow, but in our heart we know they are good as this verse states. I pay that I don't rebel and keep those laws.
