The Message:
I’m feeling terrible—I couldn’t feel worse!
Get me on my feet again. You promised, remember?
Get me on my feet again. You promised, remember?
This verse reminded me of the feeling after I know I have sinned. The feeling of "laid low in the dust" is a new one, but am reminded of that terrible feeling of disappointment in myself. But then we ask God for help to get on our feet again and try harder the next time.
