At midnight I rise to give you thanks
for your righteous laws.

I get up in the middle of the night to thank you;
your decisions are so right, so true—I can’t wait till morning!
This verse gives us direction on what to do when we wake up in the middle of the night. Thanking God for our blessings is a great way to spend your time with God.
