Psalm 119:66

Psalm 119:66

New International Version (NIV)
66
Teach me knowledge and good judgment,
    for I trust your commands.

Train me in good common sense;
I'm thoroughly committed to living your way.

  1. Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus; just to take Him at His Word, just to rest upon His promise; just to know "Thus saith the Lord." Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him! How I've proved Him over and over. Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus, O for grace to trust Him more.
    I need to ask for God's help to trust Him, to delight in His Word. He is faithful to show me how He is walking beside me. I read in John 12 this morning where verse 16 said that Jesus disciples didn't realize at the time that. Jesus riding on the donkey into Jerusalem was a fulfillment of prophecy until He was taken into His glory, THEN they remembered that these Scriptures had come true before their eyes. When I stop and think about the events in my life, I find that is true for me too. As I look back, I can clearly see how He has used circumstances to teach me so I can learn to trust Him even when I don't understand His involvement at the time. He still has His work cut out for Him often to train me in common sense....But He's still working on me!! Jesus, Jesus precious Jesus, o for faith to trust Him more!!!

  2. I do pray for good judgement and common sense today. Thanks Sony for the reminder that I am to trust Jesus not just say it, but to do it. Today, I am reminded that Jesus will work things out for me in my life.
