Psalm 119:51

New International Version (NIV)
51 The arrogant mock me unmercifully,
    but I do not turn from your law.

The Message:  
The insolent ridicule me without mercy,
    but I don’t budge from your revelation.

    This verse encourages me that although I will be mocked for my beliefs, I can stand firm on God's law. How true is this in today's world, where Christian's are characterized as being close minded to the ways of the world.
