Indignation grips me because of the wicked,
who have forsaken your law.

..when I see the wicked ignore your directions ,
I'm beside myself with anger

I feel this anger when we listen or read in the news about how the world has turned away from God. It is sometimes so disheartening. This verse tells me that we will always have those who ignore God. I strive to be not of the world and ignore God.
