Psalm 119:2


Psalm 119:2

Blessed are those who keep his statutes
    and seek him with all their heart (NIV)


 You’re blessed when you follow his directions,
    doing your best to find him.  (The Message)

What do Sword Sisters do? (from Pastor John's sermon Jan 20.  Neh 12:44-13:14)
1.  They help us encounter God's Character
2.  They help us encounter God's Word
3.  They help us encounter God's Work

    It is not always easy to follow his directions as I go off on my own often. I need to pray each day that I continue to follow his directions. Besides the ultimate reward is his blessings!

    AMY BROWN'S COMMENT:
    As we seek financial freedom, home improvement, time with family, time to ourselves, time with friends etc. we can also be seeking Him with all our heart. The key is to really think about the Lord being with us every step of the way. He's there, right now in my office while I work. Here's praying that throughout our days we are looking for God moments and representing Christ.
