that I might not sin against you.

I’ve banked your promises in the vault of my heart
so I won’t sin myself bankrupt.

I love this verse - "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." When I was 16 I went through confirmation and part of that was to memorize scripture. At the time I was not too happy about that, but I am so thankful that I did.
